My Lord,
With reference to my Despatch
No. 234 of the 20th. of last July, I have the honour to
report that Dr. Jew Hawk has resigned his appointment as
Resident Surgeon at the Tung Wa Hospital with effect from
the 16th. instant, and that upon the recommendation of
the Tung Wa Hospital Committee which was supported by the
Registrar-General and the Principal Civil Medical Officer,
I have, subject to Your Lordship's approval appointed Dr.
To Ying-kuan to fill the vacancy at a salary of £120
rising to £180 per annum by £5 annually, with the privileg
of private practice among the members of the Committee of
the Tung Wa Hospital for the current and last preceding
year and among the families of such members.
